Synergism II -- SAR 7th 8/10/2006

The track is listed as Fast.
#1 POE Altesse has been scratched
The track record for today's distance of 1 1/8 miles is 147

http://www.brisnet.com/bris_link/pdf...tion_53409.pdf

What would you use for 2ND CALL and FINAL TIME setups?

2nd call is 1:12
final call is 1:51

both from the 1a horse assuming you are going to use that paceline. a good thing to do is when you have a race where maybe 3 or 4 horses have pacelines you are using from today's distance enter several setup times using those races alydar. gives the software a bit of different times to consider.

always use pace of race. never add beaten lenghts

i was a synergism user for 15 years.

Thanks for sharing your insights, F.B.

That is the paceline I used for 1a. It's also the setup race I used.

I've had mixed results using more than one race for the setup, but I'll defer to your wisdom if you've been used this software for 15 years!

Thanks

:>)

PS-I don't know if it's me or not, but I've had more success using Synergism II than I've had using any of the later versions of this program.

Here is what I came up with for that race.

I tossed #7 based on Class (ranked 8th) and A.P.V. (ranked 7th).

Note, I used variant energy to adjust all pacelines. I opted to use #3's race of 18Jun of 53.88 as the standard.

#2 and #6 were eliminated due to their poor showings on the Rankings screen.

The Bets:

#4 looks pretty good at 3-1
#5 is a must-pig-play at 20-1
