Henrio,
This race was a perfect example of not doing any adjustment.I am only doing it because
i'm doing research on the vector graphs...
It's better to let the program do what it was designed for. There is no accurate way to
predict the internal fractions of a sprinter going to a route or a router going to a sprint. The more adjustments, the more confusion...In handicapping, what an individual perceives as
important becomes more important than what is truly important.

Hi Henrio,

The ATM is the Adjusted Total Modifier. It is simply the sum of all the adjustments for that horse's paceline.

Howard told me that some people were having increased wins by halving the ATM. This was done in Synthesis by putting in half the ATM with the opposite sign thru the manual adjustment. So if the ATM was 4.0, you would manually adjust -2.0, which would bring the ATM from 4.0 to 2.0.

In RDSS 2 we can select the option to half the DTV, but nothing else.

Hope this helps,

Dan
