June 1st

I have narrowed it down to 4 contenders and for this contest I will try to bet 2 horses and those 2 will be the best value plays, normally I would wait till closer to post time, but most of these will have to be done the night before.

I will try to look in for scratches and make changes before post time, if possible, otherwise I will use best M/L odds as my value plays, which may be different than post time odds.

Notice I am trying to use last line for all horses as current form is important for me.

My wagers here would be 25 win/place on the

June 2nd

Seems I may need to do better today, as Playing ASD, really will limit my amount won, but maybe I need to pick the winners, even if it is 1-1, as a win is a win. No thanks, not my style, I will continue to bet the best value of my top 2-4 contenders, unless I find a very strong single.

So again I see some value, yet and will play the following

win/place

I was tired last night after driving 682 miles, and forgot to put the amount wagered in the June 2nd post

The amount wagered was 25.00 win/place per horse, forgive me for not including it, I do believe that this will be formula for wagers in the future too.

Good luck to all

Hi PK,
It looks like you are using the Seg screen to pick your winners, that is fine but how do you get down to 4 horses? Maybe you could explain your elimination system.

Hey Alex

Sure , I use a few things, Segments screen to me helps me see the race, but VDC Score is very important to me also and I try to use that to eliminate, but if a horse is #1 in sgement screen , I can bump him up , even if he may be 5th or 6th on Seg Screen.

I also use other factors too, depending on the type of race, as EPR and TT for sprints and for routes I look at LPR and DCL as main factors to do some eliminating.

Hope this answers your questions
