WOX 07-18-12 Race 8 Using Synergism 2

WOX 07-18-12 Race 8 Using Synergism 2

Here's a very difficult race. The race favors a sustained horse.
From what I can see the (1) should control the last 2 fractions.
The morning line on this horse does not dictate a play for me.
I would need 5-1 or better on this horse.
As well, I would be doubtful that this horse can close enough to fill the gap.
For me it's a pass race but I would be interested in some opinions here.
The 2, 5, 9 are thinly separated. Which horse will it be?

Even though it is way behind on 1F I would say the 1 as it owns the last 2 fractions and as Doc said this is a dangerous horse.

7 could be dangerous as well big lead 2nd call

Hope Pino chimes in, I still remember in one of our gatherings at Pimlico
he had a 50-1 shot on top in the last at Delaware.

I decided to run this race with Synergism 3 and came up with the (9) 8-1 ML as a value play. Synergism 3 offers more extensive screens for me to get a better evaluation of a given race.
My perception of this race favors a horse with sustained pace and the (9)
seems to be within striking distance at the second call.
Here are the screen shots.

7/18/2012 WO 8th 6F CLM 10K Kitty Litter

#2 Erma Lee appears to be a vulnerable favorite with only a slight overall pace advantage and unimpressive trainer and jockey statistics.

#7 Bling Bling Queen is the pacesetter with a significant early advantage. Unfortunately the trainer switch is nothing to write home about as the new trainer is 0 for 9 at this track, class and distance (t/c/d). The jockey is even worse with 0 for 28 at the t/c/d. On the other hand the horse has three wins at the t/c/d. At 10-1 that may be enough for a win bet.
