Dear Alydar Dave:
Thank you. I checked out the thread and it helps to some degree. However, there are many abbreviations that either are not in Spec150 or that are in Spec 150 and not listed. I really appreciate your help and the post from Shoeless. It did help, but I can still use some additional help. Gary |

ok let's take it screen by screen here is screen 1 - Energy generator from left to right: SR- Speed Rating form the paceline selected Total - Total Energy for the paceline selected( higher is best) HE - Hidden Energy - Compunded rating- Fractions 2 and 3 FX - Compounded rating - Fractions 1 and 3 % Med - Median energy of the horse's paceline - similar to the old % early u are probably familiar with E/Ep - Early energy potential - Early pace also factoring in total energy L/EP - Late energy potential - Late pace also factoring in total energy TPP - Total pace potential - What it says Bal - Balance - The adding of E/ep and L/ep ranks together - This is VERY powerful tool Gary. When reducing a field to 5 contenders any horse showing Balance of 9 or higher is a HUGE negative. ESP - Computer generated ESP based on energy distribution NOT positioning or visual screen shot |

Screen 2
this is the e/l or early/late Difference graph. shows how a horse distributes its energy
stick to the right shows he runs early stick on or very close to the center line shows an even balanced runner stick to the left shows a runner who runs late degrees of ear and late are shown on the bottom of screen e-even me- medium early ve - very early ex-e - extreme early ml - medium late vl - very late ex-l - extreme late SUPER KEY SCREEN screen shot |

screen 3
Incremental match up graph
shows velocities of the horses at 1c- then 2c - then 3rd fraction and total pace combined for those who like to see moves "within the race" this screen showing turn time movers in fraction 2 is good screen shot |

screen 4
Match up screen showing beaten lenghts
this screen turns the velocity numbers into beaten lenghts for a much easier and more understandable "look" at the matchup. On THIS screen the 2c showing is velocity positioning at the 2c and NOT turn time like the previous screen ok? Others MUCH better versed in this software such as Tompkins, Del mar Scott, Ted C, Kiltman, NoDub all really LOVE this screen. screen shot |

The Perceptor screen
ok this is a beautiful screen man. Up on top u see the Per-1 readouts. What this is basically is the corrolaries EPR - Early Pace rating LPR - Late Pace rating CPR - Composite Pace rating ( similar to sustained pace) TT - turn time or 2nd fraction HID - Hidden Energy - 2nd and 3rd fractions FW - a combining of early and late weighted slightly favoring early FX - fractions 1 and 3 combined ,weighted but instead of rankings they are shown by % with 100 being the best for the given corrolary. So here you can see how MUCH of an advantage a horse has or the opposite how WEAK a horse is in any given corrolary. when you add up all the %'s you get the "Tot-1" number and ranking over to the right side Perceptor-2 on the bottom half shows these same % differences but applies them to the individual fractions of the race as well as 2nd call. screen shot |

Velocity/ Deceleration screen
Upper half of screen we see: ml - morning line SR - speed rating ESP - computer generated ESP Total - Total energy and rank F1 - fraction 1 velocity and rank F2 - fraction 2 velocity and rank F3 - fraction 3 velocity and rank SC - second call velocity and rank TRK - track the paceline used is from dist - distance of paceline used co - track condition of paceline used Lower half of screen we see: TS - True Speed and rank DECL - Deceleration figure and rank FIN- finish position of the horse in paceline used fld - field size from paceline used ABL - beaten lenghts behind at finish of paceline used ( expressed as - negative) WIN lines show the margin of victory expressed as positive number RC - race class of paceline used screen shot |
