That's very good news, Ted. I got concerned when I read that she had gone back. Rest easy Barb and take your time.

Sometimes the initiation and regulation of anticoagulants can be tricky for a bit. My mom also takes Coumadin due to a valve replacement, and when she gets sick the levels go haywire. But once a good level of the med is circulating, it's just a matter of keeping it in a "therapeutic , (oh no..dare I say it ..) RANGE". heh heh. (There are also some good alternatives in the later, (maybe even completed) stages of development). The frequent trips to the office for blood draws will soon be a thing of the past.
All the best Barb. |
