Kudos to TrackMaster

I just wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation to the support staff at TrackMaster, and in particular Doug Hubbard, their IT guy.

Recently a number of us have experienced frustration trying to download cards or get the available card list from TrackMaster servers - often finding them unavailable, and sometimes for several minutes on end (and like Murphy's law, usually when we wanted a card right now).

I brought this issue to the attention of Jim Vanderbosch at Trackmaster and he immediately treated my concern seriously, getting their IT guru Doug on the case right away. Doug worked with me to devise some tests to see how often and when I was failing to get through to their servers. My intial tests over several days of testing were pretty ugly, and resulted in several investigations and then a server software upgrade by Doug which now seems to have eliminated the downtime problem completely (at least over my testing so far).

I feel this prompt and respectful action by them speaks loudly to their recognition that their customers and partners are watching and need to stand first in line always on their To Do list. They could have fobbed me off with "we don't see any problem - must be at your end", but never did.

Thanks Doug, Jim, Jerry and all the rest of the gang! (Let's hope this stays fixed)
