Really like Lawyer Ron here but he offers little value so I'll shoot against him:

7 Steppenwolfer 9/2

Exacta bailout 3-1/7

here are the screen shots on Val3.

Lawyer ( # 3) is ranked # 1 in every category there is.

the # 8 is counter energy and is 12/1 ml.

cold punch exacta - 38

good luck JM as mine is only a mind bet man. Been beat up a bit too much lately to take this serious.

Thanks Rich... Just to clarify, My first 2 picks were the same as yours but I'm shooting against Lawyer Ron as a valuation play...

Lawyer Ron looks much the best, no doubt about it. His Morning Line Odds of 8/5 are high. His Fair Odds are 6/5 in my opinion.

This event is loaded with speed. I doubt I'll bet this race, but if I had to play a trifecta I'd make sure to include #7 Steppenwolfer. He's the only Sustained runner in the field. At 9/2 I wouldn't bet him to win though.

Exotic value can be found with # 10 Celluoid Hero. At 20-1 I'd use this horse in the tri. He's a Presser, the only other non-Early horse in the race.

Maybe use Richie's Counter Energy horse for second and throw these guys in for third? 3/ 8/ 7-10. Yeah, I think I'll do that for $1. Total Cost = $2 for the race.

Todays Derby Prep is the 11th at Sunland. The Sunland Borderland Derby. Extremely Difficult race to cap.. BTW my choices for races to choose are from the Road to the Roses Game http://www.roadtotheroses.com/

Dr. Dechard appears to be an extremely vulnerable favorite.
My choices today are. Belligerance is quite risky as I'm using a Turf line.. Worked for Barbaro, lets see.
