Fear not "The Monkey"

If I win this contest the prize money will be donated back to the site in some way, haven't figured out exactly how yet. This would be to enhance Bill V's dream, to maintain its members, site and format etc.

For me its not about ego, bragging rights etc. This contest does sharpen my skills. In last year's contest I made some really good money, much more than the prize $$. I was so attuned to watching odds and getting my real bets in that I failed to post a couple picks. One early on that paid $ 60.For me the real challenge is myself and obtaining a profit.

Therefore fear not "The Monkey," get in this contest as it'll sharpen your skills and knowledge. We learn by doing, not by sitting on the sidelines observing. Practical application in the learning process far exceeds reading, theory etc., it blazes a trail to success. Isn't that where your travelling to?

When the very best are brought together for competition such as the worlds best horses in the BC races, of course we know there can only be one winner of the 14 entered. Anyone outing or race etc. is not a reflection of true ability. Someone will just have to be last, but its about consistency and no where is that more important than horseracing. No race or day is as important as consistency over time nor is this contest.

Come on Lt1, Richie M and all others, be a Pathfinder and take the lead. Get in the contest.

Good luck Mitch!

I guess that means I need to go rob Donkey Kong from the arcade machine before we get started if I want to compete with the monkey to help with my picks and exotics!

MAO Conley.

Hey if "Donkey Kong" is into horseracing and can pick them like "The Monkey, I suggest you commit the crime. Ha ha ha If you get caught we'll send you a book on racing with a file hidden in the binder.

Best of luck in the contest Conley.
