PHA 8th
For this race I used #3's last effort at 6F. Today's distance is a mile.
The multiplier suggested using 45 3/5 110 4/5 135 3/5. That's certainly fast enough to make him a legitimate contender. Indeed, if it hadn't been for my skepticism about multipliers in general, and the EXDC matchup for this race in particular I'd have singled the #3. As it was I bet #3 and #7 in equal amounts to win. Note how #3 comes up as being the best EP horse even though #7 has the better F1, F2 and Emuv. Interesting, eh wot? |

Nice pop David! All day long man
I see the winning 7 owns the 1st 2 fractions on the exdc screen and is also tops there. Remember Houndog pointing to this as being very powerful and something NOT to ignore. Very nice

Thanks, Richie.
Yes, I remembered Houndog's suggestions. Prior to his words of wisdom I didn't give a lot of credence to that Exdc screen. Now I feel naked without it! LOL! I'm picturing the bee-stung nose of Karl Malden from The Streets of San Francisco telling me, "Don't leave home without it." And the irony is that I never did all that well with the straight Exdc program. However, using it in Energy is a different ballgame. I'm not sure why, maybe it's just me? Or, maybe it's not the same. Probably Ted is one of a handful that might know. It's moot though. That screen is a "must" for me now any way you slice it. Houndog, like you, generously shares his experience, insight and knowledge. I for one, am grateful. |
