Del Mar Meetup - Aug 27 - Pace and Cap

Just booked a room for 2 weeks at 'Casa Lyster' from August 20 - 31 ~ish. So, I'll be attending Del Mar racing live for several days (not sure about Pacific Classic day 8/20

).

It would be great to have another PaceandCap get together day - we always have a great time! Perhaps the weekend of Aug 27/28?

If anyone is planning on attending, let's schedule something! Despite the hubbub, I managed to make money the past 2 times.

hi ted i will show up one day at that time period!!! our move is monday so the wife and i will b just 2 hrs away from the DMR!!

Chef, looks like we're settling in on Saturday August 27 for as many people as possible to get together at that same area we did in 2013 (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showpos...09&postcount=5). Ground floor, far end nearest the parking lots. Once I get there the week before, I'll scope out the area to make sure it's still available and suitable, as it was in 2013. I'll post more info here.

If you must be there a different day, let's see if we can get together. Just check in by email or PM, and I'll give my mobile # so we can be in touch.

If anyone else is planning on coming, feel free to check in here.

Looking forward to seeing old faces and meeting new friends!

I will try to attend, if I decide not to work. I am employed at the track
as a mutual clerk(work the windows).

Hello there Ted: I will be at Del Mar for the closing three day weekend September 3rd thru September 5th. Maybe one of these days we can meet up at Santa Anita or Del Mar. For the record this has been an annual get-away for me each year for the past 10 years.

Dap, looks like I might miss meeting you this year - I'm leaving before the Labour Day weekend, but maybe some year at Canterbury - there's tons of folks in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area

Anyway. I do wish you a great time there. It is a GREAT track.

Ted: I'm going with a group on a bus from the Palm Springs area on Aug. 24th. I will have a table in the Clubhouse Terrace area. I can give you exact details later. I hope we can meet. Last year, I had a great day....even had the bus waiting for me because I had to do an IRS sign up for a big last race trifecta. Hope to do even better this next time. Using Rdss2 together with some trainer/jockey info for the maiden races. Good skill !
