Horse 3

Hi Ray

some thoughts

The class of your race was Claiming 8000 Non winners of 3 life
I'm not sure what that X by the 3 means

One thing about horse 3

It just "won" at the cl8 non winner of 2 level but it didn't even actually win the race it was put up on a DQ Its very often a big jump from a non winner of 2 to non winners of 3 at a low claiming level So its kind of rare for a horse to win back to back non winner 2 to now winner of 3

Not saying it does not happen but its something to consider for horse 3
This also helped horse 1

Anyway
What does that by horse 3 x mean ?

Bill,

Thanks for the comments. The pp's didn't show the horse was disqualified(DQ).
The " X " after the horse means it's early,but I I don't believe horse # 3 is early.In Val4 , the horse is S/P. Horse #1 is early...

Even if I hide #3,horse #1 is still ranked #5 on V/DC. I still would look at the top 3 in VD/C which was horses # 11,10 and 9...

Val4

Hi Ray

I no this is the old program area but I was curious why you used line 2 for
horse 1 I did the race with RDSS2 and since the Preceptor, Primary and VDC
all favored line 1 I figured I would check the PI on my Val 4

It gave both line 1 and line 2 the 1 mark

Val4 does rate line 2 better
on the BLBL but RDSS rates line 1 better on BLBL with all the horses who have line

here is my before hides screen Line 1 makes the winner the #1 EP horse
and top 5 Total energy also its the most early on the early late

Now I will hide to the top 5 primary line score and total energy

I bet on and lost this race because there was insufficient reason to think that the #1 was in any way a better Early (and Figher) than the #10. On Projected Pace Matchup, on Segments, on Velocity - everything - the #10 is better. It just didn't run that way If anything, the race set up for those 2 Earlies to tire each other and set up for a Presser like the #11 or Sustained like the #9.

It didn't matter line #1 or line #2 for the #1 horse - they're identical in almost all ways and don't really change any decision as far as I can see. (It was my big chance to get back in action in the PA RDSS Sartin/Bradshaw contest too!)

This is Default mode (DTV min/max +-15), aka Spec160 mode.

connection

Thanks Ted
I am sorry Ray that I could not contiue my thoughts on your race
I lost my internet connection from my verizon wifi dohicky
anyway

Ted pointed out just about what I was trying to show , before I lost touch

Rdss using val mode and defualt sttings is getting the 1 5th on pls and vdc
however, it has the 5 as the #1 ep horse .

The segments screen on rdss does support throwing out the 3
along with the class issue. Now if I hide the 11 now the winner is a posible play \bet
as a top 3 vdc

anyway we will get the next one
good skill
Bill
