R.I.P Marion Jones
I just received a note from Bob Cochran that Marion Jones, one of the elders of the Sartin Methodology passed away 3 weeks ago in San Diego. Marion's insights as a horse player can be heard and read over many of the earlier Follow Ups and audios and videos in the Sartin Library - a humorous but plain spoken gentleman. Many of the senior members in the Methodology will remember Marion. I met him once in Las Vegas in the early 90s - he impressed me with his warmth and sincerity.
A gentleman and class act. Ted

Sorry to read this. I know Bob Cochran had a chapter dedicated to Marion in a Work Horse Pro manual I had many years ago. I understand his work on turf racing was first class.
May he RIP Jim |
