Interesting that Raw Holly Match Up says you is a slow horse goodbye #7 , but RDSS adjusted (default) Holly says hello to #7

Axel Foley, the british horse has a good chance as well. John Best does very well in the USA with his horses. In the UK, he does very well at the all-weather track as well.
The form looks not enough (Maiden Winner on the all weather), but this young horse can improve. He thinks proably a lot of this horse, when you send it to such a race. The price should be very good. |

Maiden win looks weak and on paper horse needs to improve a fair bit on that win to be in shake up here , but John Best shipping has to be respected Last edited by Charlie D; 12-20-2008 at 10:13 AM. |

Ritchie, nice choice of race.
I see the race going to (10) Bittel Road. I've attached a file of my conception of the race. |

I think #6, Chocolate Candy, presently 6:1, and #10, Bittel Road, presently 7:1, are both overlays.

Very nice result as Bl/Bl top 3 is the trifecta.
Fwiw I had a couple of private inquiries as to why I did NOT use the best of last 3 for the race (opening post said that the race was done "last race pacelines" where last weeks race was best of last 3.) I was talking with Ted's mom Barb on the phone bout an hour before the race ran. I pointed out that the best of last 3 lands you on the 2nd line back for the #1 horse. I have attached screen shot. Look at the difference on Perceptor tab beteen lines 1 and 2. Problem is that line 2 HAS to be a bad number and here is why imo. The horse finished 9th in field of 12. I dont give a poop what a "number" says the horse NEVER competed at any stage of the race. Fugghedaboutit. All that is simply "fun with numbers". Any of the horses good finish numbers puts him NOWHERE. Ok Last week we had a 1-2-3 finish on Bl/Bl at Sunland for a $280.00 tri. Last night it was a 2-1-3 Bl/Bl finish in the Cash Call for a $140.00 tri. We will find another one next weekend to work after Santa has brought his goodies to everyone. Thank you to EVERYONE who chimed in and a tip of the cap to both Jms62 and Alydar who have the top 2 nailed up in the selections area! In the meantime our old friend from last week is stopping by to say hi. It's Smiley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Du8a7gpj7iY Last edited by RichieP; 12-21-2008 at 02:43 AM. |
