Mitch, I don't know of a way in this website Forum software (vBulletin) to exclude from the New Posts listing certain posts from Forums one is not interested in. By definition, it is a listing of ALL New Posts.

You could try a method I have used for posts from the old Sports Forum (because I'm not really interested in that), set up by Bill Varone and later managed by CheckMark - ignore those posts.

Thats exactly what I do Ted, I totally ignore all that old junk.

I think you missed my main point that it's a barrier to success for new people and trying to bring members along to achieve success. They won't ignore it. A specific section for them, that's up to date would help the most. Designated to those struggling or new to RDSS. They have to be given the best information to succeed, and that can't be strung throughout over 14,000 threads and 137,000 + posts.

I hear yah Mitch I find it hard to find information...I know it would be hard for Ted to
set up different classifications on the site in order to direct folks to what they want to
learn about...if i can only hit the mega million. I could donate money to the cause.
Or better yet if one was to have the winning ticket and give it to me that would be better
yet.
Not complaining just wishful thinking is all.

Our dreams aren't far apart. On my wish list also.

I don't think it's a money issue and not just anybody can do this. Someone that knows what's current and of value is needed. Not many of them around and even they may not agree on some things, however that's fine, disagreements can be put on hold as long as the other junk and trash can be discarded.

Ted's a busy guy and who would begrudge anyone a vacation. Etc.

You got to be in it to win it. I keep trying, hey one never knows.
