6/12- Let's Go Simple

6/12 PID r6 5.5f cl25k

Contenders -Line
2 Ettaplace -1
5 Breezy -1
7 Molise -1
8 Baby Dragon -1

Today,we'll go with what i think to be the easiest and simplest program of the Doc,Entropy...for win betting, low is best...so we'll go with 5 Breezy and 8 Dragon...that's it...nothing complicated...
2 min to post and 5 is 7/2 and the 8 was 7 to 1...i bet $35 on 5 and $25 on 8.
...the 5 Breezy Connection comes charging late to win.

Remember, horse handicapping is not rocket science. All the numbers are just educated guesses. But many handicappers are using databases and spreadsheets doing querries,,,they like to think they are in the north pole and doing research on an excavated alien-like creature never before discovered...i was guilty of it too for years.
Today,i was late to meet racebook friends because i had to take my wife to her specialist.
I didn't have much time and i thought of just using Entropy and as long as i know that i have the right contenders and pacelines and trusting Doc's software...just look if the odds are right and it's a go...I have learned to just keep it simple but not too simple...

there are those who do spreadsheets/database and they do good playing the horses.I am not talking about them...But there are handicappers who have been doing spreadsheets/databases or subscribing to the 'experts' for years and up to now they cannot apply all the long hours of research to what they are ultimately after..you ask them...where's the money???
maybe it's better working at Macdonalds for $15 an hour...

I almost quit horse handicapping and betting a few years ago.Former Sartin players said the plays don't pay like they used to.Barry Meadows retired because the work was not worth it anymore.I totally disagree. The money is still out there. You've seen my bets and tickets.I had bad days too,but there's still 'gold' out there. You just have to look and dig deeper.

...the whales and the betting syndicates and their computer-asisted- wagering software are very powerful. They are just new obstacles we have to learn to overcome. The road to the win window is long and hard. There are many dangers and traps along the way.The most dangerous enemy is our mindset. We got to be really extra tough...when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping...
