Opening past performances in excel
Hello everyone,
I am looking for something that allows me to open a Bris form in excel so that I can sort a few things. I had several older Sartin programs a wrote some stuff in excel back when. I am interested in dusting things off, but also don’t really want to start over. Looking for a simple excel program that will open Bris. AllData @raybo may be too much brain power for me at this point. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dave |

Just be aware that BRIS data files have 1435 data elements per horse. Just mapping the elements to know what you're pointing at is a task in itself.

You might want to take a look at this https://alldataexcel.weebly.com/ I believe that it was written in an early version of excel which did not allow 1435 columns so it can be a bit challenging finding what you are looking for. It is a good place to start.

Ok thanks for the responses. I am ok not using bris files if that matters. Obviously, using rdss I am fine with trackmaster or other recommendations. I am in no way trying to replace rdss, and have tried a ton of different programs. There is nothing in my opinion that compares to rdss. I am really just trying to build a couple of different formulas so that I can play with various loosely defined probabilities. Basically, I don't want to have to manually input all of the data if possible once I build the formulas.
