Don't beat yourself up too bad, it IS gambling, hopefully at a profit. I am intrigued with MPH Pro because it is web based so I can use on my Apple laptop or even my iPad. But there is no support I know of--like we have with Ted plus RDSS is more robust.

I'm re-reading Modern Pace Handicapping for the 3rd time, hoping more will sink into my aging brain.

Best of luck, stay in touch.

I agree the Hidden Fraction or TT works better at sprints per Brohamer, and is never a sole reason to bet on a horse. However in conjunction with other factors I have found it useful for finding longer shots.
Thanks,
Brian

Holy cow. Spent a a lot of time on tonight's Woodbine card only to get blasted out of the P4 in the first leg by a 50-1 shot with few redeeming features and only modest early speed. I wonder what sort of juice THAT horse got? Must've been the single-barrel, top-shelf stuff. Exasperating.

Exasperating all right! The P4 must have had a terrific payoff.

wo 6/22 race 4

rivegauche intrigues me with his post. attached is my screenshot using rdss auto pace selection.
I think coca has a lot going for itself. tot eng, bl/bl, epr, hidden, tt, cpr, ts. well worth betting at 50-1. I don't think it is fair to pin big odds on "juice" with absolutely no evidence.

Broke up my pick 5 and 4

Shame on me for not having a dime on the 2!

The track has been slowly speeding up over the last couple of weeks, they must be working it. The “Early” bias was present on the entire card last night with some nice final times, we shall see if that carries into the weekend.

The Turf course is rock hard, we haven’t been getting any rain and everything is drying up. The course has been favoring “Early” speed as well.

It wasn’t that much of a stretch for a front runner to win R4 last night, but what i did find a bit shocking was the 44.70 and 56.65 fractions, that filly hasn’t done that before.
