I can indeed confirm that Bill had the #5 winner as his top choice (5-1-2). Bill Lyster and I chose the 4-2-6 (in various orders) and given our consensus approach, in this race, Bill V was out-voted - to our loss

Congratulations Bill on a great selection, and thanks for going through your process! (I hope you also bet it!)

Bill,

I know this wont mean much because it's after the fact but did Turfway
Race 10 Sunday using your instructions.

Contenders I came up with

2- line2
4-line3
6-last
8-3rd back
10-2 nd back(TE was way below 1st horse so made non contender)

Graph showed SP 6-8

6 won paid 36.00

EX 6-8 112.00

Thoromation screen didnt have it,I think graphs are way to go.

Thanks for sharing and more then that putting up with my many questions.

Bill,

What is the difference between the EXDC in Energy and the KEXDC in KGEN?

Good Example Race

Bill, good example of the power of KGEN. Also a good example of running your contenders through the Kinetic Generator to see possible TE deficiencies and ESP type by Energy expended which may be different than visual ESP. Your KGEN winner that comes up second in the SP KGEN screen would be what they called a “Bulge Horse” as opposed to a “Dip Horse which is illustrated in your EP KGEN screen for #9 Few which can be verified with the Kinetic Generator. #9 starts out quickly but de-accelerates in the second fraction which gives him “Dip Horse” status.

As often is the case many of your winners may come from the second horse in your THOROMATION-EP-SP screens. The winner is much closer in the second panel as opposed to the horse that was ranked first on the SP screen. Once again this can be confirmed by the Kinetic Generator.

Great job of handicapping Bill and also showing us by example how to do it..

Thank you so much Mike and Tom and Jeff

The lines are very helpful in spotting strong moves relative to the other
horses. or to pick lines for a horse The dips and bulge that you speak off are consistant with good lines
When running races to me a instant tip off to a questionalbe horse, althogh it has a top rating is a abnormal pattern line.
I come across them all the time I will post an example

Jeff great question about EXDC
The truth is I don't know the answer

I was listening to KGEN seminar tapes and Hat said that you can use it with Synergism. He said take the 1 adj and divide it by 3 and put that number into Syn where it says open adjustment and it would be like KGEN.

Might though be confused here as now I cant remember if it was 1 adj or 2 adj,It was the one that would take the adj and put it on all 3 fractions.
