Sep 25 PID race 5 and 7 results
Race 5
Horse 10: This is why getting the running style right is so important. I checked off the 10 horse as an S expecting him to join the leaders at the stretch. He actually joined the early horses at the gate and stayed with them until the 5 other real late horses passed him close to the finish. Finished 6th. This was only the second race this cycle where I did not have the winner in my final contenders. Race 7 Horse 3: Came from 2 lengths behind in the stretch to win by 2. Everyone else in the park knew it was going to happen. Paid $4.20. ML was 5/2. |

A Turf Router coming out of a race only 1/5 slower than today's projected pace. It is the favorite. S energy distribution, P running style against early sprinters. |

Sep 27 PID race 3
$100 on 11 to win
It is the 1's turn to win against his usual company. But, I don't see any horse that can run all the way with the 11. All red. I have been in a habit of taking the late horse against many earlies and coming in third. |

Sep 27 PID race 4
$60 6 to win
$40 on 11 to place This tends to happen often at PID. Horses from Pen make Tier 1 BL/BL with a huge gap based on the most recent turf line. They win more than 1/3 of the time paying around $5 - $6. |

Sep 27 PID race 5
$100 on 2 to win
Everyone's a winner here in race 5. I'll go with the one that has run down all the other contenders from behind. |

Overall results
Now that I have the chance to review an entire 20 race cycle posted for all the world to see, I recognize a few noticeable tendencies. My wins came when I identified Pressers that reversed a tandem. Losses came when I ignored such horses, threw out earlies just for being earlies, or gave too much consideration to late runners who would not be close enough to the front at the second call. Betting two horses might help. Although my hit rate was the same with one or with two, I could have picked up 3 or 4 more wins by adding the second choice. Sticking to one track would also be good advice to follow. With these observations in mind, on to next month.
