"Monkey" snags $81.90 winner @ WO

Giving priority to other concerns and resting up "The Monkey," my playing time has been infrequent by design to recharge for better focus.

Received notice by e-mail of a mandatory P6 payout at GP which peaked my interest. I uncaged "The Monkey" for a look but he wasn't overly excited because it contained 4 Md. races in the sequence. He did get excited about an 8-1 shot in the first leg but that race was hours away. Back into the cage he went.

He was a little unruly waiting for that race so I opened the cage, broke out the darts and opened up the PP's for 5 different tracks. Objective was to reduce the drudgery by playing only angles and longshots.

Results were: a $25.40 EX in the 2nd @ AP for $4, 7/5,6, 7 won and paid $ 13.40, Missed a $29.00 winner and $98.50 Ex in the 9th @ Bel as I was shut out and missed getting my bet in. Happens with multiple tracks which also doesn't allow for DD as not enough time between post times, time strictly Win and a few EX.'s

One that really made the day was the 5th at WO which paid $81.90 to win, my 4 horse came in 3rd beaten by a neck or so and went off at 17 to 1. The 4 also got bumped around and had some trouble. Now that would have paid around a grand or so. A profitable day, here's my ticket:

Thanks everyone very much. Yes Darryl he's been on vacation but not retired. Needed some time off from looking at PP's and numbers.

Going to travel for about 3 weeks in July but will take my computer, however racing won't be a priority.

Got this horse by process of elimination, some Md. races many of the horses have proven to be losers already. You have to access the competition of all races and adjust the bet to how competitive the race is. Some races are just more risky than others based on how many legit contenders there are regardless of the type of race.
When you get 4 or more legit win contenders, to include unknown factors it pays to be leery of the race itself.

Sometimes they just jump off the page at you like picking a pace line, hence my $6 bet. Just missed a big EX as my other horse had trouble in the stretch.

When burn out occurs Pace of the body or self is just as important as Pace in a race.
Pace yourselves.

Snagged another Maiden winner for $19.60 yesterday at PRX. This one I posted and as a single lone pick.

Like the $81.90 winner the races before and after were very unclear and not a good betting opportunity for a DD. In the $19.60 winner I couldn't even determine a place horse for an EX. The favorite won the following race but that was easy after the fact. Before the finish there were 3 NTL horses which set up for a OTE horse. So not a race with a clear cut analysis.

The following race was very unlike the other 2 Favorites that won yesterday and had a clear cut advantage over their field, and were ranked 1st in my selections. This shows the importance of good analysis which few employ. Proper analysis of a race makes for and is the foundation of a good betting strategy. Know when to bet them and how makes for more generous profits.

I passed on 4 Md. races yesterday but hit a single selection in a Md. for the $19.60 reward. Regardless of the type of race they are not all created equal, to include Gr. 1's. Access each race's degree of difficulty; number of legit contenders, NTL, Unknown factors and wager accordingly.

Best of luck.
