R.I.P. Father to rmathe - Pace and Cap

I just learned today that my dear friend and racing buddy Dick (rmath) lost his father to cancer. Although in his late 90's, his sudden death came as quite a shock. Dick's mother (also in her 90's) is still with us, which is a comfort to Dick. My thought and prayers are with Dick and Theta and the whole family at this time of sadness.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
My father fought hard for 5 years ,but finally lost the battle.
He will be deeply missed by all of us.

Always tough to lose a parent, even when you know its coming. Its always a shock but you can always recall great things that happened because of who they were.

Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers on the loss of my father.
My family and I are saddened by this loss , but I know he had a good life and will always be remembered.

It is very heart warming to know that I have so many good friends,here on Pace and Cap.
