Oct 7 MNR race 8 result

A $4.00 win.

Not very exciting. But, better than a loss.

Oct 10 CT race 3

$50 on 7 to win
$50 on 2 to win

Let's try for a little higher payout this time. I see the favorite at the bottom and the second favorite is a layoff horse stretching out. I used the best line ever for the 6 to make sure that he does not dominate the field. The 2 is on top but is a last race winner with a lifetime best SR as well.

Now doesn't that 1 horse just stick out like a sore thumb. That blue minus 1 EP among all those late runners. It took me quite a long time to talk myself out of betting it. I was looking for an SP horse that would sneak in ahead of the 3.

The 1 paid $12.60 while my two choices ran together mid pack.

Oct 11 Bel race 7

$50 on 3 to win
$50 on 3 to place

Turf race moved to dirt.

I selected the last comparable dirt line for all remaining turf horses. I eliminated horses that show no sign of dirt ability. Now I see one lone red presser in a field of blue S and L. Hide the 7/5 favorite even though still a good contender for win. Here's a shot at learning from the mistake I made in my last posted race. The patern in this one looks the same.

Oct 12 CT race 7

$50 to win on 1
$50 to win on 4

Hiding the favorite at 2 to 1 even though it looks to be the lone early E/L Diff horse. You can't come out ahead by betting the same way the crowd does on low odds early horses. Favorite won last time out against the 1, 7 and 8 who are also in this race. When I entered those 4 horses using the line from their tandem race, BL/BL put the 1 on top reversing the order of finish in spite of the 1 horse having a lower SR. I'll add the 4 as my second choice because it is the counter energy horse.

Oct 16 FL race 9

$50 on 6 to win
$50 on 1 to win

You can't get ahead by following the crowd on low odds early horses, take 2.

Pacelines selected are at today's projected pace of the 2 horse's last race (wire to wire).

Hide the 6/5 favorite and throw out the rest of the red Es. That leaves four other than earlies. They come out of two separate tandems, 6 and 1 are a pair, and, 5 and 7 are the other. 6 and 1 faced the faster paced race and ran P. The 5 and 7 faced slower and both ran EP.

Favorite was false this time. 2 horse lost ground between the 2nd call and stretch then gave up. That white 5 in his Turn Time column really stands out now against all those green 2s.

6 horse won from a couple of lengths off the pace and paid $10.40
