conflicting reads live race

here is race 5 tonight from Evd - 5.5f

ok after following steps outlined in another thread I am now down to 4 horses.

why post this one?

check the reads on the # 9 horse please

2nd raw total energy
1st on early exdc
2nd on late exdc

yet the horse does NOT show on either "paragon".

varie - sustained

here are screen shots beginning with the engen

really gotta love this ****

this race AFTER it runs will answer all kinds of questions ( assuming I have the winner shown ) . They always do!

Richie, this is just an observation. If you add F1 and F2 for both the 2 and 9 who has the greater number? If you add F2 and F3 for the same horses who has the greater number? I am not really sure if this is significant or not.

Conversely if you add the 1st and 2nd as well as the 2nd and 3rd in the Exdc Match-Up Screens who comes up lowest? These are supposed to be defiency numbers per fraction. Again not sure if this is significant or not. That F2 for 9 may be the cause of the conflicting readouts. I will very interested in what your observations are after the race.

Richie:

This is a very tough race. 8, 1, and 2 are closely matched early. 2 is the only presser identified in the race. 2 is also the highest total energy horse. If all of the selected pacelines are not abberant then I would look at the race as follows: 8 and 1 look like they will get the lead. 1 looks like it might be able to very slightly dominate 8. 2 should make a move during the 2nd part of the race. 9 should be right behind it. 9 looks like it will hang in the stretch. 9 will only win if the three in front collapse. Not likely. If the paceline for 2 is valid then 2 will win. If not then 1 will win. That is my 2 cents.

The horse that won was coming off a 10,000 open claiming race back to a non winners 4 lifetime.Actually that start doesnt look that bad the first 2 horses finished 10 lenghts ahead of the field.Jeff

Hide horse

Hi Rich
The 6 is just a pain in the ear hide horse winner
Here is my screen shot using Spec
The winner ranks 5th
I saw nothing in its recent form
Except a clear class advantage
I did a APV/Class which i inserted into the corner
The six has a good advantage. I went down to a resonable( I think)
race 3 line. For sure if you use the race 6 or all the way back
to race A the six will rank better
I also noted on the next screen that like Jeff said The six is dropping from a open $10,000 were it showed good EP in its first race off a Layoff
It like the crowd thought handled these $5000ers easy
My bets if I did this race would have been the 1 and 8
looking back now a 1 6 8 exbox would not have been good
either. It paid $19.00
