Welcome Back

Hello everyone I'm back and ready to go

Good skill to all
The normal contest rules apply

Remember

This months format: Best Contest score after a 20 race cycle

20 races will be based on your most recent 20 races
After you do 20 races your next race will replace your first race of the cycle
so beware !

You can post up to 40 races in the month but you can only post a max of 5
races a day

There will be 2 Bonus races this month you will earn 1.5 times your race score
if you hit a bonus race

lets go
Welcome back

My picks

I use the best plus or plus within a zero race of the last three
comparable pace lines I look for horses with good rankings in TPR,
I look for the best two finishers on the 2nd and 3rd segments
I look for the best horse of the top 3 BLBL that will pay close or above
5/2 or 2/1 for my first bet which is usuall just a win bet.
For my second horse I look for the horse with good odds from the horses
ranked as above, These horses must also fit & are not wild early or late on the e/l graph

I bet these higher odds horse w/p

Question

Im curious about why you didnt use #12's last line in race #5----improving horse and all the good things you want in regards to numbers.

I made a real bet on it to win and loss so how smart am I?

Just wondering why going back to his second line was best for you.

Thanks
Mike

I suppose

Mike

Good guestion

Here is my answer I suppose line 1 could be used as a plus within a zero race.
but I felt line 2 being a plus race matched this horses best ability as represented
in it earlier plis races
Line 1 is a good tpr but the horse ran behind a fast pace
The 12 horse may have been a good place bet with 4 life time place finishes
but at 3/1 I figured it would not pay much to place against this group

As it turned out it did place and paid $3.90
