ZIP archive files are pretty easy to work with. Windows normally treats them like Folders, and Folders contain files within them. After you download the RDSS-0992.ZIP file to (say) your Desktop, double-click on it to open it up and see the file within it: RDSS.PBD. Copy this file to your RDSS Folder. You will be asked if you want to OVERWRITE the existing RDSS.PBD file already in your RDSS Folder. Respond YES. This updates the software to Version 0.99.2.

I will get the normal install package done just as soon as I can and let everyone know. Until then, the update (and 2011 cards) is available now, via the contents of the ZIP file.

I know there are a few RDSS users who run it on a Mac notebook, using Parallels to run Windows 7. One person is having trouble downloading and working with the temporary ZIP file containing the update, and I am unable to be much help since the download dialogs being presented by Safari browser (or the file system?) are unknown to me and we can't seem to get that updated ZIPped file into the RDSS folder...

If anyone familiar with running windows on a Mac (and referrably also RDSS on a Mac) is able be of assistance to this individual, could you write me or PM me and I will put you in contact with the gentleman.

Where can one check on my system the current version of Rdss. I have installed the update but got my wires crossed and need some one for HELP in finding it.

When you open RDSS, check the top title bar of the main screen. It tells you the Version number. If it says Version 0.99.2, you're good. If not, you need to update to that version.

I did the download and Zip - but....... I went to download Santa Anita, and it tells me that my software has expired?
Am I late in my subscription?
