Drefong can press and if challenged on the lead will put away the 3. Off of several PPs I think the 4 will be first to challenge as they straighten out, which should make it for 3 across the track at the stretch call. Roy H may need an open lead in the stretch to win, so my first pick is the 4 boxed with the 2 and 8. Stats on favorites so far this meet show about only 12% winners and this is Drefong's first race after comeback, so he does not have to win to set up for more lucrative races later. |

Good point
Good point Bill
Baffert was able to mess around last week with Arrogate, In the grade 2 San Diego, which is a route. In that case, Arrogate, they are prepping for the Classic and possibly the Dubie and or the Pegasus, Arrogate can make it in the better-paying route races later. The Bing Crosby Is a Grade 1 and for sprinters The are fewer Grade 1 sprints. I have a feeling Mike Smith took a fall for the team in the San Diego but wants that purse today. We will see, I wish I could have made it but I'm still up in Ontario Ca. Hope we all make money in the end. Bill |

wild and crazy
Well there you
The 2 Defong takes a left-hand turn and throws Mike Smith Congrats to Pook for catching #8 to place Too bad Pook, you deserve better. Riderless Defong terrorized the 8, I thought you had the win too I was about to put my bet in but at 0 minutes both the 2 and 8 were 8/5 so I passed No mention of Mike Smith so I hope he is okay Last edited by Bill V.; 09-12-2017 at 08:18 PM. |

You're right Bill. The 8 wins without the 2 pushing him wide. Looks like Bill L caught the exactor.
