Perfectly understand Don. I didn't mean that in a derogatory manner. I myself get blinded by so many past performances and must take a break. I'm not insulting those who don't post etc., more of no responses or views.

Thanks for posting Tim, Darryl and Mitch. Have you considered the possibility that your posts have been successful? Many have learned what they have learned and are now implementing and keeping to themselves. I would guess that many students have graduated and that your sharing was a positive thing.

Hi Mike It would be nice if that's the case but they could have let us know if that were so. I can understand some folks not wanting to go public but a PM would have been nice[a few folks have] letting us know we weren't wasting our time.

About posting...the reason i don"t post much.
Part of the reason I was spending 6 months developing an excel model using
Power Query. Quite a task I must say. When I got through with the model
I can break down everything into class/distance/surface/finish positions.
And was able to find what variables were important and what were not.
Some variables were important in some races and not others.
But it turns out that I get blinded by numbers. It is the way my brain is wired.
If my brain was a lil more balanced...i would be much better at handicapping.
If I was at the professional level I would be posting more.
At present I am trying to develop the other side of the brain...more subjective.
When I get the other side of my brain developed and can make consistent profits.
I will start posting...i figure i have about another 30 years to do that.
But at present still enjoying the game.

I thought I had a long time to step up my game. I was figuring on being at least 10 years from retirement from my day job. Then my state banned ADW's. I hope this can be understood to be a positive message... do what you can to step up your game as soon as you can. And I hope you then can appreciate the effort. Best to you.

I thought it would be a good idea to see his perspective such as FTL
