I had the pleasure of meeting this delightful gentleman at a book signing. He was one of the greats.

He was one of the greats and will be missed. Enjoyed his writtings very much.

Yes, I noticed that. Great man. I just started re-reading some of his books a month ago.

Mr. Francis's books were about as close as my wife ever got to horse racing, she enjoyed each and everyone. His books were a great companion while traveling . He will be missed .......... Scott
