Race 8

http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_vi...ate=2012-08-10

Bill, you might be interested in comparing the manual input/output to yours.

For the track record I used the three year best time of 108 3/5. Normally I would use the actual track record of all time, but I think Ted has this set up to use the three year record and the purpose of this is to compare apples to apples.

I threw out the #2 and #7.

For setup I used #1's last race of 45 2/5 110 4/5

Pacelines:
#1 last
#3 4 back
#4 last
#5 4 back
#6 3 back

#3 might steal the race at a price. Although it would have to be a price with that deficient third fraction. It looks like a relatively easy win for #1.

Mnr 8 8/10

Hello Bill and David

Here is my look
The race is an Alw non winner 2 lifetime There are no multible winners
Every horse has just their 1 maiden race victory

for my set up time I use the fulcrum horse 7 = 47 107.3
and the 3 year best time 103.1

Here are my pace lines and contenders

H1. Line 1 EF line 3 confirms
H2 No line
H3 Line 3 EP why back on dirt ?
H4 Line 1 P Line 3 Confirms
H5 Pass this girl, but will rate line 1 last race
MS winner in the mud otherwish no Plus races
H6 EP does well at MNR
only when its a off track NL
H7 P Mc15 winner 20/1 ML No line

My picks horse 1 - 4

Bill V,

I dont understand cant you just pick the pacelines in RDSS send that info
to Synergism and have the program do the calculations. It seems to me that
picking the the fulcrum horse is awfully hard to do especially since the
setup times are so important.

Yep, you can do that. Pick unadjusted pacelines in RDSS, send them to Syn2, enter a Track Record time, a 2nd call time, a Final Time in SYn2 (for Setup/adjustment purposes). You figure out what those 3 Setup Time values will be - just like you always did. Nothing magic.

Or - export RDSS' Adjusted times and forget about Setup info in Syn2.

Your choice. Nothing magic, just a time saver (plus you get RDSS, to boot ...)

Ted

you bet

Ted hits it right out of the park

With not having to worry about hand entering the times I can spend more time
reviewing the pace lines and doing my before race work figuring out pace and setup times etc.

Once I'm sure I understand the race, the rest is just a click away
No chance for tired fingers to make a costly error

Just remember though the purpose of the setup times are

TO MAKE A PAR VARIANT not to make a time that the horses will
run against

The more like pacelines you can get up to 5 the better off you are
