Gulfstream "Live" Wednesday - Race 2

Continuing the "test drives" of Ted's RDSS software.

Once again I will do the first non maiden race on the card keeping with last week's theme.

This week we will again pick pacelines WITHOUT looking at any speed ratings etc etc. We'll just "pick em" based on some matching stuff and then see what shakes out.

I am going to select "Power Lines" for the horses. These are lines that make the horse FAST and after all we want to be betting FAST horses.

Then we will identify early/other than early race shape. Followed by the RAW screen data( which I use) and then the Perceptor and Bl/Bl ADJUSTED screens with all their cool stuff and colors.

In keeping with the early/other than early theme I am NOT going to individually go nuts nitpicking running styles. There are only TWO styles now for ME.
1) Early - A horse Wiring the field from the first call
2) Other than early - ALL other horses.

As you see this 2nd race from Gp will prove quite interesting in this last regard man

There are NO tandems in this race

So Let's get busy

horse #2 .

Last line is obvious power line as it is BOTH fastes pace of race AND puts the horse CLOSEST to the leaders.

horse # 4.

ok here is where the matchup (Jim Bradshaw's way) can NOT be duplicated by software. We want to use the 1st fraction from line 5 BUT the 1c and 2c from line 6. This "blending "of lines also needs some "extra credit" for the "heading" that took place 1c-2c on line 5.

For now I will check BOTH lines and keep em both. Thats what we want for this guy's power line ok? A blend of those 2 lines and positioning DEFINITELY makes this one a contender

horse #5.

The last line is faster pace of race but the first line is better positionally. I am using the last line because that 2c of that 5f line is just way too SLOW man ok?

Remember we are NOT looking at any adjusted figs for this working of the race. This is my quirky way. Other testers can come and show their stuff if they like.

Last line please

ok so here is the RAW DATA screen. Anyone notice anything regarding "styles" ?

NOBODY is early. Look at the first call. All the horses want SOMEONE ELSE to lead them based on the POWER LINES.

So we have an "Other than early" race shape.
