Hello 'Tiger, being pretty new here too, please take my two cents with as many grains of salt as you see fit. But the way I see it the pace line should be taken from a race where the horse has done...

Thanks
I want to thank you all for your advice and I will read and do as you suggest.
I started going to the track and betting horses a couple of years ago. My father had just passed away and he was...

Yes it is...
if I recall correctly the paceline selector chose the first line as "best", and it looks like it chose that only because of the SR. It didn't matter though because for some reason that I don't...

Screen shot
All right, thanks Charlie that seems to work. I just discovered last night that I could display the original pacelines. Again this is the first race from Del Mar 7-21. The pps are from the winner of...

Which line?
I wanted to put up a screen shot from one of the races from this MOnday at Del Mar that I have on Val4, but it won't work for me. I was able to put it on a .txt file. It wont be as cool looking but...

All right then...
I see that the 84 line came from a maiden win where the pace was slower and there was a 0 TV.
In the 70 race our horse set a much faster pace with a -12 TV.
So I think the 70 line is better than...

ok...
...so going with my logic from the previous post I would have to say the 84 line, because to me that would look like the "best" line.

I guess...
...I would have to know if the 84 SF was something it had done in the past or if it was a one time run for the horse. If he regularly runs in the 70's and only ran the 84 once I would have to go with...

Ok
I'll try to put up an example. I'm at work right now, I'll do it when I get home.
I was given a copy of Val 4 recently and I have used the F6 (line selector) but I am still worried that the proper...

Paceline selection
Ok, I know this is a question that has probably been beaten to death, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. My question is, what is the best way to determine the best race of of the last...

update
Hi, I just thought I would give an update on my progress with the Synthesis program. Since I have started using it at the beggining of the month I have gone from a -26% roi to a +21% roi. I know that...

I think I may have seen these tapes on eBay awhile back, not sure if they are the same though. The auction started at $100.00. This will be great for me, being one of the new guys.
Also I was able...

I was wondering about the PPs used by you guys here. I know that RDSS uses the TM download. I have a manual entry version of Synthesis and I have been using the DRF PPs because they have the SR and...

Manual Entry
The version of Synthesis (and PL3 that came with it) is manual entry. It is tedious but I think it is helping me with my pace line selection. Maybe when I get a little better with it I will subscribe...
