Aqueduct 7th race 02-20-2012
Initially, the race contained 10 horses plus an entry. After scratches and 2 eliminations, four were left. 2 of the four were no-win contenders and will be used if an exotic is wagered.
#1a- scr, # 2 scr,# 4 scr,# 5 scr,# 10 scr. This leaves #1 a lay-off with no qualified race after a lay-off OUT, # 3 Lay-off horse with no qualified race after lay-off OUT, #7 a contender, but not for WiN consideration, #8 a contender, but not for Win consideration. #6 is a Win contender, #9 is a Win contender The Median Win Energy for AQU 6 fur Winners is 68.75 % #6 = 68.90% #9 = 67.10 % Let's see how this plays out after 5 scratches in the race BobC Last edited by Bob Cochran; 02-20-2012 at 02:08 PM. Bob...
Be patient with us with trying to understand you process.. It happens to me too, trying to explain my thinking doesn't always come out the way I wanted it to.. OK..this race was , to me, unplayable but some questions.. You have a Median energy for all races at a specific distance? Some would cringe here over that and say its best to have one for each "class" of horses.. Second, in this race why would you say the #9 is a choice? His Median # is way off Thxs Mike

Why the 9 horse?
Hello Mike. You say the 9 horse was way off the energy profile. The race set up
for OTE to capture the race. The 6 was the earliest at profile .68.90% number 9 68.10% was the choice if you could accept the odds? Mike , this is what i would like for you to do, so i can clear up a few things regarding APV-CLASS etc. Please post a Gulfstream race for 02-23-2012. (race 2). Place the PPs as seen through the eyes of RDSS on the board. I will then go through the race horse by horse explaining which horses are contenders , no win contenders, and throw outs along with an explanation for my reasons. This way FTL and Bill Lyster, or anyone else, can follow my process. Thanks, BobC Last edited by Bob Cochran; 02-21-2012 at 05:32 PM. Reason: left out race # |
