That sounds good. Only a couple of requests. First, can I wait until Sunday or Monday's Pha card? I will be pretty busy the next couple of days. Also, when assigning a race to me I just ask for no maiden routes. I almost never play those type of races. Thanks.

It should be a fun exercise.

We wont assign races just pick a one in advance and let us know what pacelines you used.Let's do both Sunday and Monday's cards that way it gives us plenty to choose from.I always wanted to see how Syn 6 would do anyway and compare against Syn 4 and RDSS or any other software that uses TPR numbers. So far then we have

N Wearner Syn 6

Richie RDSS or Syn 4

Ted RDSS

Me Syn 4

I know there are other software as well that fall in this category such as Pace Evaluator or Essential Handicapper so feel free to use those as well .As far as screens goes I guess TPR screen is manditory other then that show what you want.If someone else has any suggestions let em rip nothing is etched in stone.Jeff

Can we add whatever races are being played in Saturday's TVG NHC contest? I think NW and I and Richie (at least) will be working them anyway.

If you use TSN files and bet thru TSNBst, you can knock that down to 40 cents, Why are you using such overpriced data?

Good question Dick, and the answer is because the data I am paying extra for is not in the tsn files. I based my program on the Bris single file format a long time ago, the last revision was a poly flag to look up a table I programed to equalize poly with turf and dirt. While the table was not Bris, but my own defined table, the flag was right where Brils noted it was. I find the speed figures much better than alot of other data providers. Not to mention the Quiren and many other nice fields I use.

I'll try to get those posted. I have company through Saturday. If I can get the ScreenHunter tuturial read tonight and have success then I'll try to post some output either tonight or tomorrow. I'm definitely playing in the contest, but it may be a thing where I have to put some entries in early, leave it alone and hope for the best. Oh wait a minute, I'm gonna win!

I won't be able to post today's races. Heading to the city for the day in bout an hour. Best of luck to everyone today in the contest.Entered the contest myself but did not use software reads.

I will do Shoe's Philly cards on Sun/Mon.

Has there been a way to select lines that has been worked out/discussed? Last line, best of last 3,last line within 1/2 furlong of today's distance etc etc?

I agree it should not be about selections but rather readouts.

NW VERY cool of you to jump in like this and help out man. Seriously glad you found Bill's site
