#7 was big favorite, but thought enough to like about the #6 to place a bet at more than generous odds. 2nd BLBL

Great work Gary! And a great example of the 'wagercapping' notion of hiding (or ignoring) or the heavy favourite if you don't intend to bet it, also if another horse in the top 3 has good corollary support, as you demonstrate.
Of course, the generous mutuel makes it easier to ignore the favourite in this example. I have difficulty sometimes when the odds are less generous and the top ranked horse is so dominant: pass, let it beat you, or lose more races but collect more $ in the long run? Congrats! Ted

I agree, and in this case the #1 BLBL was 1/1 and the #3 BLBL 2/1. The 16/1 odds for the #2 BLBL was simply too good to pass up with the reasonably decent corollaries. Gary |

Nice
Hi Gary (Nets)
Very nice work not only the 7 but I see the 5 was also just 2/1 I admire you taking a shot with the 6 you made a very nice decision. Congratulations I see you bet the horse win only Very nice do you ever back up with place and show or use the exacta as a place bet ? |

Yes, often use the exacta as place, but time was short and I wanted to at least take the chance for a nice payoff. That's one area that I am working on - to come up with a consistent wagering style. Getting better but a long way to go. Gary |
