Announcing - RDSS Leverage/Pace

It's a great honour for me to announce that the next version of RDSS - Leverage/Pace is nearly ready for general release - I hope before the Kentucky Derby.

This update has been in development for almost a year and is now open for a short while to an expanded group of pre-release testers for the next week or so. Before releasing this to all RDSS users, I want to find out any remaining significant bugs and get feedback on the software, on Documentation, tutorials and the dedicated Leverage/Pace support Forum.

If you are a regular user of RDSS and can commit some time over the next week to installing, reading Documentation, watching a few tutorial videos, using the software - and are willing to give feedback on it - please contact me by Private Message or by email (ted@sartinmethodology.com). I will add you to this pre-release software testing group and give you access to the Leverage/Pace Forum (everyone will have access to this forum very soon).

There are 10 - 15 spaces available on a first come first served basis. I'll email you back with the access info and post here when the testing group is filled.

For me, this is an exciting new development in the implementation of The Sartin Methodology in RDSS. See you all at the races!

Here is my Introduction and Overview of the new Leverage/Pace update.

Components of new version:

1. Leverage/Pace Analysis screen (new) - synthesis of several other screens: identifying 'Key Contenders' and 'Companion' horses

2. NewPace - a longstanding module in RDSS formerly available only to those who licensed it from Dave Schwartz - now available to everyone. Identifies Early/Late and pressure profile from the horse's entire Performance

3. Results and Mutuel Prices - now appear on all screens. This requires the TrackMaster Bundle/Premium data plan which includes Results. Equibase PDF Results now appear on several screens, for everyone.

4. Automated Model creation - by export from every Analysis screen and import directly into an expanded/enhanced Excel Model database. MUCH easier to maintain and get information from models (also includes Results and Mutuel prices when you use the Bundle/Premium data plan). Pre-populated Model Database of 3600+ races included to test all manner of retrieval queries.

5. Leverage/Pace Forum - a new central location here at P&C for Documentation, Model files, tutorial videos, discussion groups, FAQs, etc. A full write up and many examples of the protocol for implementing Leverage/Pace is found here. Weekly live Zoom meetings are planned.

Folks - I got enough uptake for the final round of testing for the new Leverage/Pace version. Thank you all who have helped me complete this massive project!

The new version will be going live next week sometime, following just a few more Bug fixes and other enhancements.
