Question - re incorrect PPs showing up sometimes

Has anyone experienced this? This horse is a FTS but these running lines show up. If so, how can i remedy this?Name: Screenshot 2025-05-31 163656.jpg

Brian, a quick re-assemble of the race would likely solve that fast. It is unusual that the races shown are from 2017 and earlier, so bizarre. The PPs obviously come from some other horse running at CD (or some other track you also have races currently open at?) - but which one and why the old dates ...?

When RDSS has many races assembled and currently in memory for each easy switching to, there are a few scenarios reported when the tote-checker switches races to the next race on a card and MTP and some (usually) Analysis screens report the wrong collection of pacelines (easily solved by switching among Analysis screens then back again). I have never seen the wrong PPs presented though.

As usual, if I could duplicate that happening, I could solve it. If you or anyone can duplicate an anomaly like this, please let me know!

Meanwhile a fresh assemble of this race --

It looks like trackmaster/equibase pulled the wrong horse. I think the only thing you can do is notify trackmaste. Did you try downloading again to see if it was corrected?

Charlie - not so. See my post above. Oddities like this are usually RDSS' fault.

Brian, that's how they were assembled and then stored in the Cache, on Oaks Day - at least I presume you are simply opening those races now, not re-assembling them.

I understood that that happened, as you demonstrate. If you now re-assemble those races, do they still appear incorrect, or now do they assemble correctly? I have just now assembled both those races and the horses in question appear entirely normal.

So, I still need some way to duplicate the issue. Guaranteed if I - or you - can duplicate it, I will fix it. However, just loading a somehow incorrectly assembled then stored race from the Cache is not duplicating it. Re-assembling the race and still showing the incorrect PPs would be duplicating it.

Let me know if there's more work we can do on these examples. They remain a mystery! I certainly want to fix them!

Ted

P.S. I am moving this thread to the new Support / Bugs Forum.

Ted,

Yes even after I reassemble, I get the same result. It's nothing pressing and we can link up after you get back from your time off. I thought I was getting a corrupted file, but sounds like that is not the case. Enjoy your time away and we will find a time to resolve things. Enjoy
