The New Match Up Guy

Dear Jim
What a beautiful post ... I am very happy for Rich
I hope you remember when we walked around the park with Aspen
I told you how much I wish Richie were here. I love Richie
He is my best friend. I respect him and bust my rear so as not to disappoint him. Because he has given me so much of his time, over the years to ,
not just teach me but to guide me through many personal battles that cause me to sink into depression. This is a gift I could never put into word its value I respect his great ability to teach and to make his students WANT to win

I am very honored that you both give our group
so much

This is such a wonderful post
thank you

Bill

Jim.

The Matchup2 is absolutely Great. It is a masterpiece, I have read it once and am planning on reading it over and over till the ink disapears.

Richies Posts were also great, I have read them twice, I pick up something new every time I read them. They leave me hungry for more, I feel that there is still a lot more depth to the Matchup yet to find.

Wink Match Up

RichieP posts provide excellent insight. I have also been rereading them.

As a student of the Match Up, I feel that between the Hat and RichieP, I'm in very good hands- they both give very generously.

...back to study now...

Great thread Richie and a very nice letter from "The Hat". High praise indeed and it appears to be well deserved.

Thanks for sharing your insights and experiences and thank both of you for your input on Pace and Cap and for "The Match Up 2".

Its nice to see good things happen to good people.

Dick...

Yesterday was my first "acid test" of my brain too see if I could put into practice what Richie has been posting here. At FG using ONLY single win bets the following occurred: Race 1 $6,00, Race 2 $ 4.60, Race 4 $15.00 and lost race 5 ( no method would have gotten the winner in that one at least ours. I used my aodds gold sinple for the bris Hat pps and that was all, no computor readouts.......need I say more about what I think of this?)))

Ritchie has been an inspiration and teacher to all of us.
His dedication, persistence, encouragement and unselfish efforts should be appreciated and commended.

"Hats" off to Ritchie.

Hopefully, I will have the pleasure of meeting him in the near future.

Thanx everyone.

Listen EVERYTHING I showed and laid out is JIM ok? Not me but JIM.

I left it all at the door (ego, my "look" at stuff etc etc) when I had a chance to learn it from the beginning.

I also was offered the chance to learn someone else's version of the matchup. Someone supposedly better than Hat.Ummmm thanx but NO thanx.

1) Really FOCUS on learning the 5 step approach ONE step at a time.

2) Really FOCUS on WINNING RACE PATTERNS

3) Really FOCUS on the FIRST CALL (First FRACTION in ROUTES also).

4) Really ENJOY all the hard work! It is FUN isn't it?

Great work Doug!

Jim says I am good at the early stuff in the races(1sr call, fighters, matching earlies, etc).

He is NOW starting to show me PATTERNS of MIDDLE MOVE winning horses and RACE PATTERNS they do well in.

When I am more comfortable with them and have seen them much more I will post a couple of races up and show YOU what he showed ME. Shoot might be another "SPOT PLAY" situation!

I am going to attach a screenshot of a race Jim showed me from Philly 3 days ago pertaining to this ok? The #6 is the $13.60 winner.

There IS a methodical PATTERN of TEACHING that Jim does. I "see" that now.

Richie
