MNR Race 9

Tough to find a race at the mountain that I did not think would run chalk. This one might too, but for the odds I am taking a shot at the 7wp in Race 9. If odds warrant I will ex 7/35 and 35/7.

Race10

The nightcap is interesting with a heavy favorite tightly grouped on the BL/BL screen. I'm playing 5 and 8 to win for sure. May cheat and play 4/58 ex. Also a late daily double 357/58.

Jim,

Now that the #5 is scratched out of the 7th what is your play?

Hi Froggy,

My selections were for race 9 and 10, not race 7.

race 10

hi guys

race 10 is weird cause nobody wants the lead at the start. They all prefer someone else lead. Well someone is gonna have to take it and that might lead to something weird happening.

the 4 is tough but I am betting the #2 - What an Angel to win. If he's ready maybe he can run a good one.

Win bet #2

best of luck!
Richie

3 wins the 9th and pays 5.80

7 made a little move around far turn but jock went about 6 wide and that was that.

Live on late daily double with 5 and 8 in race 10. Those are my two win bets as well. Also a small 4/58 ex as saver.

Thanks Jim,

I just bet the exact in the 8th and parlayed that into the exacta in the 9th.

Thanks again Jim I would never have even looked at the Mountain if I hadn't read your post.

Good luck in the 10th Jim and Richie.

Unfortunately you both can't both win without a dead heat.

I'm off now to go out and have dinner.

Race 10 runs 5-4-8. Hope somebody out there caught the $400+ trifecta with my 3 horses.

As for me the $16 winner and $45+ daily double made for a very profitable late evening. I rarely look at this track but I do like a cold $16 winner that wins by 10 lenghts.
