Exdc Match-Up

Forego, nice piece of handicapping. In every EXDC Match-up screenshot all of your winners had 0.00 in at least one of the columns.

houndog this is wonderful.

i assume i can use one of these sheets for each track and distance? is that the prescribed way? i use "open office" instead of microsoft package. company bigwigs set me all up with it. i can just rename the sheets for each track and distance

some feedback for you since you share so generously:
a) the 2 most predictive reads so far seem to be muv and exdc. paragons take a backseat at least so far.

b) high priced horses showing up top 2 in both early and late exdc columns are extremely profitable.

c) woodbine polytrack low median energy contenders do not fare well for the win position. seeing this from memory so far. now with your sheet i will lock in on this.

this exdc thing appears to be of another world houndog.

God loves you

Energy Worksheet EXDC-Matchup

Forego, here is an alternative. I substituted the sort rankings for the EXDC-Matchup rankings, but kept the MUV. You could also note in these columns how the 0.00 horses are doing.

I think as you are showing in your screenshots the EXDC Match-Up screen is important to track. The sort screen other than the MUV is the least effective of all the Energy readouts as Doc has said in past Follow-Ups.

Exdc Match-Up 0.00

These numbers are deficiency numbers. A 0.00 in any of these columns means the horse has no deficiencies for that particlar portion of the race.

Doc has said that these horses are often good to use in Exactas as they win or are in the money often depending on your racetrack. A horse with 0.00 deficiencies in 2 columns are powerful horses that you can confirm with your other read-outs. Forego, you are doing fine using this screen already. This is just an explanation of the 0.00 number and how you can possibly make use of this informatioon.

Forego, yes that would work quite well. You can also print them if you need to do so. I print these in landscape.

Less is better

I notice that Forego puts from 3-5 horses in Energy. This is important as putting to many horses in Energy makes for many contradictory readouts. In each of Forego's races the readouts had a smooth transition from one screen to another leaving no doubt as which horses to play.

Forego, here is one way to use the actual finish column for. Basically you would put the actual UXR number for the winner in this column. For the actual finish I would put how the winner ranked in UXR. I am attaching a word document to give you some suggestions on how to fill out the worksheet.

Fill free to adapt the worksheet to how you want to use it. Also it is not absolutely necessary to fill out all of the columns, but I would consider filling out the UXR, MUV, and %MED at the very least.
