Aqu Inner Dirt 11-28-07

This is MPH's analysis of 11-28 at Aqu. Contenders were selected before scratches and all MTO horses are removed.

Jeff--sorry but I had enough trouble posting the screen shots. This is my first attempt.

Cole,

Is that automated paceline selection or your pacelines? I have the version of MPH just prior to yours without automated pace lines. I sent you a pm months ago about that. Anyhow, thanks for posting and I will look forward to seeing how the contenders perform.

I pick the contenders and let the program pick the 2 pacelines. It will only pick 1 line when there are 4 or less ratable lines. I use to pick the paceline/pacelines and then run the automatic 2 pacelines--it would do better than me 9 out of 10 times due to the consistency. There is no bias, strong feelings, or emotion involved.

The automatic 2 paceline feature is still the default in Massa's HTR Program. See his Discussion Board and the contests he has run a few years ago.

Factor W

I see the AQU Inner Dirt is opening. I can remember around 15 yrs. ago modling the inner dirt with the old Sartin programs and the Top 3 Factor W horses won 71% of the sprint races. Will be interesting how it does now using the RDSSS program although i do not have the time to do them every day. Might be something to keep your eye on for those of you who are thinking of doing a model for the inner. Just make sure you use the same paceline selection proccess in your modling.
