screens

Ted,I have been using your program to some degree and find it looks like a coloring book.To an old DRF user like myself seeing all those colors makes it confusing.I was wondering if there was anyway to make it where the user could view the screens witout color.Jeff

Richie,By the way that's what makes you doing the match up look confusing.Just an old dudes opinion.

Jeff,

Yes, I can switch off colours (and/or bolding and/or underlining, etc). I need to do this anyway for printouts, because some people print in black and white and the colours can make the printout confusing.

You'll be able to switch off colours etc in the Configure Tab of the Data Center - not with this upcoming update, but later in January.

Thanks for the colouring book description! To some this is a good thing - to others not (vive la différence).

Ted

That's fine Jeff. Jim is in your camp.

I am so comfortable and familiar with the setup to do it any other way would cost me money at the windows big bro.

I can fly through races on cards using the colors to help me lock in on spot play races QUICKLY. Less than 5 minutes to scan a complete card of races.

To me now after months of doing the same thing the earlies stand out in my head while the deep sustained do the same in a negative way. This is what I need.

Others do things different as it should be. This is what I do

Ted and Richie,I think most people prefer the colors and that's great but it seems with a lot of these programs nowadays it's all bells and whistles.Jeff

It all comes down to individual preferences Jeff.

What are "bells and whistles" to one person are "tools and aids" to another.

Both people are right in my opinion.
