i can't believe it's 09 either. i look back now and think to my self where did all the time go. all the births, friends we make, jobs we have. hires-fires, games, races. all the people i've meet and have forgotten, or remember, but have no idea what happened to them. all our families that we sometimes don't see untill... the eldest passes. oh well we all have 2009 to look foward to, more games, family, races and food. and a great year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Where was Pitt's OFFENSE yesterday? I always pull for my Pac 10 brethren but that game was a comedy of errors.

Happy New Year and Happy birthday to the horseys.
Most of them, anyways. A couple of three year olds I bet on this year were slow.

How slow were they?

They were so slow, they won't turn four until February!

how about ...

Did you hear about the race horse that was so late coming in?
They had to pay the jockey overtime!

What is the strongest animal?
A racehorse, because it can take hundreds of people for a ride at once!

Why did the man call his horse Fleabag?
Because he was often scratched!

here is one ...

There were two retired racehorses living in a pasture. Their names were Razzle and Dazzle. Every day they would race from one end of the pasture to the other. On the first day, Razzle pulled out ahead, then Dazzle caught up, then Razzle pulled away, then Dazzle started running even faster,Razzle, Dazzle, Razzle, Dazzle, Razzle, Dazzle, and Razzle won by a nose. The next day, Razzle pulled out ahead, then Dazzle caught up, then Razzle pulled away, then Dazzle started running even faster, Razzle, Dazzle,Razzle, Dazzle, Razzle, Dazzle, and Razzle won by a nose. The third day, Razzle pulled out ahead, then Dazzle caught up, then Razzle pulled away, then Dazzle started running even faster, Razzle, Dazzle, Razzle,Dazzle, Razzle, Dazzle, and Razzle won by a nose. A dog who had been watching them race day after day finally asked them, "Why is it that Razzle always wins by a nose?" And Razzle said to Dazzle, "Look,Dazzle, a talking dog!"
