now tell me...who says trainer and/or jockey has nothing to do with a horserace.....I'm sure the trainer told the #1 to go to the lead and try to steal it..and to see 47.2...112:4 fractions...he was cooked!!
Absolutely. There's no reason for this horse to outrun the 7 early. The 23 quarter cooked him (and cooks just about any horse).

ONE RACE? hardly exemplary as the LOGICAL pace horse lost by inches

OFTEN a lucky break puts a horse on the lead.

confuses this contest with an e/l that makes it a contender. Parimutuelly not a race worth the wager

Last year I gave up the LONG term frustration and took the advice of a friend who's brother let us visit the winner's circle at Fort Erie when his horse won and we all got in the photo.

His question to me was blunt: "Are you in the game to pick winners or are you ther to make money?" "There is too much frustration watching WIN choices logically just miss, so you should turn to exotic wager creation and the money will take care of itself."

He was right. Straight wagers are now backups only and the ROI has gone through the roof, as there are just too many random unpredictable things that can interfere with win only logic that "shotgun" logic will catch.
