hansend,

Great job. Looks like you don't need much help. You may understand these races better than I do. I'll just a couple of minor comments on specific races. On this race, I might have thought about throwing out the #1, since he's a relatively low-grade animal coming off a long layoff, otherwise looks good.

hansend,

Nice hit! This is how wagercapping works. As long as you have the patience to pass those other races, as you clearly do, you should do well.

hansend,

Another solid hit. The only thing I'd point out about this, is that in a race with first-time-starters, there's a always a chance that you'll get beat by one of them since, as Howard Sartin says in the Yellow Manual, they're in a 'gray area'. As with European horse, you don't really know what they can do.

hansend,

Don't completely disagree with the way you played this, but I personally wouldn't go as low as 7/2 with one of your choices, if betting two. And I know that it's hard to believe that a 19-1 will hit - but I think it's somewhat more likely at this class level than higher. Lastly, as far as the #4 goes, I think it's a mistake to use a year old line at a non-comparable distance. The last line, a mile from a couple of weeks ago, is much more reflective of current form. And compared with the last couple of lines of the #8, it isn't as good, which is probably why the #8 hit the board and the #4 ran out.

Agree with your passing the last couple of races.

In general, you really had a great night. It looks like you understand the Methodology nearly perfectly and are well on your way. Best of luck.

Cheers,

B Jennet

Just fyi... When you pass races thinking that the favorite can't be beat you are setting yourself up to miss some huge scores. Don't try and out think the methodolgy. Just one mans opinion. Some of my best scores were made when I thought I was throwing away money by betting against a horse that I thought couldn't lose. Also consider paper trading a 1 Unit 3 horse tri box of top 3 BL/BL (no Hides) and a 2 Unit straight Tri of BL 1 - 2 - 3 (No Hides) and see how that works out.

Nice work

You are right there.. No matter how long you do this. One year or ten or more years, You are right there. In the long run you will do very well

In two of your Higher price winners you had horses with better
VDC ratings than BLBL

Just something to look at, maybe incluce "a little something"
on these

Hi, I am new to the methodolodgy. Can you tell me where to get more info on BL/BL. I read Marc Cramer's piece on this, and that piqued my interest. Thanks. Wayne

Good morning!
Best feedback I can give is check out the Sartin Library.

In there you will find the Followups. Focus on the ones from #75 to #88 as they all will contain stuff and screen shots on the Bl/Bl (Bottom Line Betting Line)

Welcome and Merry Christmas
