Wednesday - Delta - 8f

This is the 6th race at Delta Wednesday night (1/20) going 8f

Delta 8f is around 2 turns out of a long chute and the first FRACTIONS on the routes there are FAST because of this configuration.

Delta 6.5 and 7f races are ALSO around 2 turns but have a shorter run to the 1st turn

Thanks for putting this up Ritchie. Before I match this, how do you get several horses together in one image? I want to put some races up from tracks I play.

To the race:

This race looks like it will run OTE. The 1, 4, 5, and 10 all look early. The 1 came from a length back when he won two back but he is basically early. The 7 and 9 look like pressers from sprint races which means they could be early routing as well. The 2 and 6 are late horses and are out. The 3 appears to be in the garden spot and looks like he can handle the pace going against a 23.1 47.6 in his last.

I'll check back tomorrow for scratches. For now, I'm going with the 3.

Morning Tim

when you click the "manage attachments" a box pops up with 5 upload slots(see 1st screen shot here)

Have your screen shots ready of the horses you want to post up and one by one upload their pictures in those 5 boxes ( one for each upload box so we can put 5 on each post).

You click browse then find the screen shot you want, double click on it and that appears in the upload box.

Then move down to second upload box, repeat process above for next horse til you are finished.

When you have them all ready click the "upload" tab to the right of the 5 browse tabs (second screen shot here)and they will all upload. when it is finished close that window and click submit post and you are good to go.

Hope this helped and made sense (still on first coffee! lol)
Richie

Hi Guys..

proj pace from the 4 last race 22.9...47.3...113.2...141.0

I see this horse as the dominant early horse and should wire em..

#4 to win

long shots 1 & 10

I see this as OTE

1-4-5-10 will be early. 1 probably lays off a little at first making 4and 5 do the work. The 10 faded off of slower in first attempt at route.

5 can push the expected pace of the 4 for the first quarter and even the half mile. The 4 is a fighter, but faded in last in almost the same fractions.

2 is not in form;
3 is SP and could be sitting in about 4th spot at 6f call and might get first run if 4 collapses from early pressure.

6 has two + races in last three and last was not bad. Deep closer, but if you calculate the closing times this one should look like he has wings on in the stretch. Both the CD and Kee races show 9+ length gains and BIG power moves; one made from a 112.3 pace and the other from 111 pace, much faster than today's. Horse looks to want to be last early, but in this field with 2 apparent duds ( 2 and 8) probably won't be that far back

7 is part of early pressing jumble and does not finish well

8 is no form or barely alive

The last race for the 9 looks good but he won with 7 sec last half furlong coming off a 114.9 (faster pace today makes this one OUT)

In the end:

4 (L3) 22.9 - 47.4 - 113.2 - 140.4

3 (L1) 23.1 - 47.6 - 113.3 - 140.5, power move 5-4-3-2, but still 3.5 and 5 off at last two points (6.88 sec per half furlong closing)

6 (L3) 22.9 - 46.0 - 111.0 - 123.6, power move 10-7-4-3; gained almost 4 L in each of last two; (closing POR fraction 12.6 less almost 9 L would indicate 10.8 last 8th of mile). Charts that Mike put up indicate that Kee is about 17 pts faster than DeD so add 3.4 seconds + 6.4 + 6.4 and get 139.8 adjusted time against a slower pace.

So my play is to box the 4 and 6 larger than a 3x4x6 box and look for good win odds on my top two.

Good luck,

RIchie: question about matching earlies

How close do you need the first and second fraction times when you think you are looking at multiple matching early horses?

I know you like to see three for the lead as a minimum. Is this kind of insurance in case one doesn't pop like normal?

Thanx
