Patrick, I highly recommend using Derek's WagerDecisionForm Excel sheet to record your wagers (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showpos...80&postcount=2 - the 1st one). If you don't have Excel to open it, give a copy to a local Kinko's and have them print up some forms for you. When you're done, post the results here using that form (get Kinko's to scan your paper to PDF if need by and post the PDF). Write it all down!

If I can join in for some of it, I'll be there.

Good luck, have fun!

Ted
Ok I will take the laptop to kinko's, but they may want me to email the file to them, how do I do that? Also a crash course on using the form, thou it seems simple enough, juat the top BL/BL horses and then the ones bet and then the results, should be easy enuf....I hope.

Okay I will look into the downloads and begin prelim's now.

Pktruckdriver,

If you would like to give it a shot try Open Office. It is free software which can open/edit a lot of your "Microsoft Office" documents. There are a couple things that it seems to have some trouble deciphering, but those excel sheets should not be difficult.

I may have even created them in Open Office before I got microsoft office.

If you try it just make sure you save a blank copy so you dont have to erase everything you entered after the first use!

Looks like we are all set for Thursday/Friday. Have fun with it and good wagercapping!

Ok this is the Maiden Turf Race, and it has PL's to look at for all runners, and here is my lines, does it look playable to you? I think so, and who knows a little value may be there too,but is the 4 horse really a stand out as the program shows us, maybe.

But here is my quick Pace Line selection and my picture of BL/BL Screen, where on 3 horses stick out

Patrick or Derek,

When you are ready, create a new thread in the Selections Forum for Thursday's work and I will move the above Belmont race #6 post there.

I'm going to join you

I hope it doesn't rain at Belmont. 5 of the 6 playable races are on the turf.

Partly sunny right now. Thunderstorms come tomorrow.

Yes possible spot plays today, but not plays for a 20 race cycle, as I would pass almost all races today, as we all know Belmont's last week is trash horses and barely able horses, as all real runners are getting settled in up north.

Thank you for joining us and all insight is very helpful

Track condition at Belmont

Turf is yielding. Race 4 is off turf. Race 6 is on inner turf.
