The favorite (3) won and 11 horse placed, 8 showed. At least my picks were in the ballpark. But overall I don't do well with Turf routes. That's it for me today I am packing it in while I am ahead.

Nice work Ernie
Sorry I could not join you I am on the road just took a break and saw your perfect $10 + winner Your line selection and betting are excellent
hey the three chalk is just a miss

Yesterday you posted about the speed ratings and how the perceptor lines sometimes
out perform the speed ratings
This is very common The Follow Up is full of examples of the F6 or now the Perceptor
rating lines you would think are better or have a higher Speed Rating
Its Doc's guidelines to go by the Speed rating as a guage to pick lines within a
small range ( about 3 points ) within what the favorites speed rating is
But the F6 and Now Perceptor total linescore rules

Doc never said take the top 5 speed ratings or Total energy. He did show how the top 5 Total energy horses
won for his testers When they follow his guidelines get the winner 90 % of the time in the top 5 Again Nice work

When I put up some TRACK PROFILES I did not include any "turf" races since there were so few of them. At this point in time, including 9.25.10, there are a total of 14 turf races at distances of 8 furlongs or further since 8.30.10.

Here's what the # entries and first two calls look like, position-beaten lengths.
(ENT) 10 (Call1-POS/BL) 6/3.75 (Call2-POS/BL) 4.7/2.7

Now these are averages of all the races regardless of age,sex or anything else. But it does give you an idea of where winners are positioned and how far back they are at the first and second calls.

In addition to the above averages, only one winner was as close as 3rd at the first call and another 4 were as close as 4th at the first call.

Finally, only 1 winner had the lead at the second call and just 2 winners were as close as 2nd at the second call.

These pieces of information give you a very good idea of how a horse has to run in order to win these route races on the turf at PHA (PARX).

Thank You.............any data is better than nothing.

Hi Ernie For The Lead is so correct, there just is not enough data for turf races
at Parx they are running so few of them and many are sprints including
7.5 furlongs with no fractions

Here is your race added to my SARTIN ENERGY PARAMETERS Worksheet
