This looks like a tough race, besides the short field The conditions also
pose a problem. An allowance race for non winners of a sweepstakes
of $60000 at over 1 mile in the last year and a half.
So anybody can get into the race. If they have not won a route stakes race
for more than $60000. The problem here is there are graded stakes winners
who look much better than a $60,0000 stakes horse but they have not run
for a while.

Well at least Barb will be in the winners circle with a quality horse
and the connections will be very happy with the purse they just won

We did get the winner, #2 Bill, but with 2 scratches, there were only 4 horses. My daughter and I were the only ones in the group who bet on it, and I only because of sentimentality - it went off at 8/5.
