Who knows how the track this year is going to compare to the turf course last year. A significant amount of the early speed is scratched. I think the 6,8, and maybe the 1 will run early giving the 9 what she needs to close up and win.
The 9 is my choice to win the race.

Do not use Turf lines with the Tapeta, the days of mixing Poly and Turf lines are over.
Be very careful when using last year’s Poly lines, make sure they are +DTV, the Tapeta is SLOW! Good luck today. |

Wo
The scratches make the early scenario less clear. But presumably softer. The 6, 12 and 8 are e/p in my view and should on or near the lead. I used 22 45.1 as my projected pace. I am looking OTE.
9 made a strong move against the FPLR and is my top pick. I will also take 10 who has a strong race against a 45 pace. 9, 10 |

Projected 22 and change/45 and change. I still think it could run OTE with the scratches. My choices are 1,7,9 of which I think 9 will do it. He is 6/5 which will be no help here. Will go 1,7.

The scratches of a lot of the early speed changes this slightly. I am going to settle on the #7 as she will be closer to the front. At 6f she does her best running from off the pace but forwardly placed. If this was a longer distance she would be on the lead. I think there is still enough speed for her to sit in 3rd or 4th and make a late move for the win.
#7 River Maid
